I don’t have a camera with me that would do it justice, but the downtown skyline from where I’m sitting is amazing.

The lights and colors that reflect off the bay and tell you the city is alive are nowhere to be found.

Instead, I’m treated with dim silhouettes of skyscrapers and their respective aircraft warning lights. A few diesel generators are putting on a show of normalcy, but they’re not fooling anyone.
