Truthful Tuesday, it’s raining!!! edition
It rains so infrequently here that I’m really not used to turning on the windshield wipers. And I would say that 90 percent of the rain we get can usually be accommodated by the first setting on the wipers.
But then when we have monsoon-type deluges as we’re experiencing right now, I have to click one up on that wiper setting thing, making them move more quickly, and then I start to feel bad for the little wiper arms because I don’t want them to get tired.
No *you’re* ridiculous.
In some parts of the country people worry about rust damage from road salt or cracked windshields from loose gravel. In San Diego we have to deal with the emotional strain inflicted on our windshield wipers during the occasional heavy downpour. It’s not easy, but we somehow manage to make it through.
